I am a historian, auto-mechanic, costumer, amateur tailor and prop designer. I have always been into anime, art, and cosplay, but recently in the past two years have gotten back into it as a serious hobby. I have recently started to get back into costuming and going to conventions with AWA 2010 in Atlanta being my first real convention in over 6 years.My friend's call me "The Wicked Tailor" and like all cosplayers, Halloween is my favorite holiday and believe that dressing up shouldn't be limited to just one week a year! Do to unforeseen circumstances, I.E. unbearable reoccurring stomach pain caused by either my gall bladder, an ulcer or IBD, I won't be making AWA this year. I am hugely disappointed because I really wanted to enter my Steampunk Mad Hatter into this years costume contest. Guess it will have to wait till next year Before I can enter it into the contest. AWA 2011 Here and Gone...What a Weekend!

So AWA 2011 came and went. Even though I tried to make the weekend last as long as possible, by not sleeping, it still flew by at an amazing speed. Friday seemed to cruise by before I knew what happened. I was a little disappointed since I could swear I had more fun on last year's first day than this year. Saturday made up for this however, as I had an even better than in 2010. I pretty much wore my Steampunk costume the entire weekend although I switched out for Sebastian for a couple hours on Saturday. AWA 2011 Here we come!

I will be attending AWA again this year after such a wonderful time at it last year. Due to lack of funds I was not able to make it to Dragoncon as I had hoped. Instead I will be showing off my steampunk Confederate Airship Captain's costume at AWA in the "Original Characters' portion of their costume contest.
