Steampunk Gatling Gun by Challenger70TA Steampunk Gatling Gun by Challenger70TA
Finally completed with an updated photo, "Without any further adieu, allow me the pleasure to present to you fine people the finest weapon produced in the South."

The Palmetto Armory of South Carolina, CSA. Model=1870 Personal Revolving Gatling (P.R.G.) -
Lots of Brass, copper, wood and leather went into this piece. Entirely fabricated from scratch, gun stock was traced from a double barrel shotgun and hand carved and stained. Barrel rotates manually to feed .223 rounds into the chamber. It also has a spring loaded cocking mechanism, safety switch, adjustable rear sight and working spot light....anymore realistic and this thing would require a permit ;p ENJOY!

wow, this thing looks great, really really great.
but i have tiny problem with it, i'm kinda of a gun-nut, so if you're gonna make gatling inspired guns later on, reduce the number of barrels, cause this "little" puppy is gonna make you backflip from the recoil.

Isn't a steampunk gatling gun redundant? Oh, wait, handheld. Now I get it! Hope it has a hand crank for the mechanism as well, the only full auto gatlings are electric.

I saw this on the History Channel. "Secret Confederate Wonder-Weapons of 1870," designed by their Mad Genius Designer HG von Bubba. If only General Lee had listened to Beauregard at Gettysburg, The War Between the States would have lasted until 1910, giving the South time to develop its industrial chops.

This is one of the more fantastic things I've seen. Things. Seen. Ever. O_O I can see all of the mechanical and functional thought that went into this baby, and the craftsmanship is just incredible.

We need more of this, and less painted nerf guns. Not that I mind the occasional nerf gun, but its nice to see someone put in some effort. Good Job!
